Not Sure Which Light Is Right?

How to Choose Indoor Lighting

Compare colour temperature, brightness, beam type, and fixture style before you buy, so you order the right fixture the first time.

Colour Temperature

2700-3000K gives a warm, relaxed glow suited to living rooms and bedrooms. 4000K+ reads brighter and more functional, better for kitchens and hallways.

How Many Lumens?

As a rough guide, living spaces need around 150-300 lumens per m², while task areas like kitchens benefit from closer to 300-400.

Beam Direction

Downlights give focused, even illumination straight down. Pendant and diffused fixtures spread softer, ambient light across a room. Track and spotlights highlight a specific feature or task area.

LED vs. Halogen

LED fixtures use a fraction of the energy of halogen and last significantly longer - nearly all of our indoor range is LED as standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these lights dimmable?

Many of our fixtures support dimming - check the specification on each product page, and confirm your dimmer switch is LED-compatible before installing.

Can LED lights replace halogens directly?

In most cases yes - most modern LED fixtures and bulbs are designed as drop-in replacements for standard halogen fittings.

What's the difference between warm and cool white?

2700-3000K (warm white) gives a relaxed, cosy glow suited to most living spaces. 4000K+ (cool white) is brighter and more functional, often better for kitchens and hallways.

Do I need an electrician to install these lights?

Plug-in fixtures like table and floor lamps can be self-installed. Anything wired into your home's mains supply, such as ceiling lights or hardwired wall lights, should be fitted by a qualified electrician in line with UK wiring regulations.

Do these lights come with a warranty?

Yes, every light in this range is covered by our full supplier warranty against manufacturing defects.
